Poppy’s Promise was created from love, loss and a determination to make healthcare kinder.

It is a commitment to ensuring that all families feel heard, seen and supported in moments of vulnerability.

Working in partnership with NHS organisations, Poppy’s Promise helps embed compassion, acknowledgement, respect and empowerment into everyday care – not as an aspiration, but as a lived reality. 

By strengthening how staff are recruited, trained and supported, it seeks to create healthcare environments where every patient interaction carries humanity, understanding and dignity.

In healthcare, the smallest moments can mean everything and every patient deserves to be heard.
